Monster Hunter Rise continues to iterate and grow the Monster Hunter formula, making it that bit more accessible once again and enhancing player movement with the new Wirebug and rideable Palamute, not to mention Wyvern Riding. The publisher reported that the latest Monster Hunter game has already sold more than 5 million copies – no surprise considering the game’s physical stock sold out in some regions at launch. The exclusivity was a little bit surprising, considering just how well Monster Hunter World had sold by targeting PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but it was still a huge success for Capcom. The PC release will mark an end to the platform exclusivity for Monster Hunter Rise, which debuted on Nintendo Switch. That expansion will release simultaneously for Switch and PC in Summer 2022.

Capcom recently revealed the upcoming Sunbreak expansion, which will take players to a whole new region, tell a new story, and bring a big batch of new monsters to the game for you to hunt.
